Some of our most needy citizens who can no longer earn a living on their own and other disenfranchised citizens need a little helping hand from time to time to get ahead in their lives.

Our community gets flooded frequently and Families are evacuated
Over the past decades almost every citizen has been affected by heavy flooding and/or rising river. As a community we need to be prepared with better emergency shelters; and better streets along with proper drainage systems.

Our Small farmers need Road access, Water, seeds and plants
Regardless of our community evolving into a developing society we all depend of farmers produce. Therefore, it is important to ensure our local farmers have good farm roads as these get flooded making it difficult to access and to transport their produce or necessary farming resources during rainy seasons.

Families need access to portable clean water in new areas of our community
A primary necessity in every family is access to clean pipe water. However, due to the continuous growth of our families, the expansion in living spaces requires the expansion of our pipe water system with sufficient pressure to ensure adequate water supply.

Our public places and streets grass needs cut
Many of our community members enjoy sports, our kids enjoy the play grounds. Especially during the hot summers we come to our Mopan River side to cool down. There are other public areas that need constant cleanup to keep them in usable conditions. These efforts require everyone’s participation, including proper disposal of garbage we produce. It is our duty to ensure that we take care of our beautiful green and diverse ecosystem, our unique history and diverse culture.

We started as The Bullet Tree Women’s Group since 2020. Since then we have provided small support and assistance to citizens and families.
Our community has been affected by floods and hurricanes and we have assisted where possible as a small group of women.
Now we are establishing our group into a formal community building organization. An organization focused on various needs of our community and is comprised of women and men who are willing to contribute to the development of our green and wonderful village.
